Valintine had one final mission. It was another theft based mission, but this location was interesting. He had to go to an undersea base. He almost didn't believe it himself. All he knew was that he was happy he had a garganta to take him there. He stood over the body of water and searched hard for even a faint reiatsu signature of something. He picked up a Shinigami signature far far down there. He quickly opened a garganta and entered it. He came out in a shady looking base undersea. Deep enough that light could not get down here. The entire base shone like a star from the inside though. He was mildly impressed. Humans did more than he thought they could. However, they did have Shinigami help. Oh well, Valintine had a job to do. And to do that, he had to stop looking around. He felt all the different signatures. He lowered his reiatsu to only the faintest of amounts. It'd be near impossible to detect him. He was using his stealth to the best of his ability. He was determined to make this a quick in and out mission. If he had to be here any longer than need be, there'd be problems beyond their wildest dreams.
Valintine used sonido to appear behind a front door guard and snapped his neck, he then broke the wind pipe of the other one. He reached down and picked one of their IDs and used it on the card slot. The door opened and he let himself in. Valintine stepped inside cautiously. He had no idea where he was going. He was as blind as a bat. It didn't last long though. He used sonido to move through the floor he was on quickly and break what he could. He figured someone had to come check something out if it should break. That person would have a layout of the building. A group of scientists came and he sighed. It was always scientists. He quickly and silently eliminated them and stole a layout of the building. He looked around and frowned. It seemed the building had three floors. On each of the floors was a main computer. Within these computers was data that allowed one onto the next floor. That could get annoying. All bases had a leader. That leader had to have access to the floors without restriction. Hell, half the personnel had to know how. He would have to make this a mission worth the reward.
He followed the map to the main computer on this floor. The hallway he was in was dark. It allowed him to blend in easily. He peeked around the corner. There was only one door and it was the door to the room with the computer. He looked further down the hall to check, and there was a squad of three guards. Valintine bit his lower lip. This was going to be very problematic. He used sonido to reach the group. In the blink of an eye, during the sonido, he knocked out the guards and took all their ID. He didn't know how many he'd need or which would get him inside that room. He walked to the door and tried them. On the second ID it opened. He looked at it. Seems one of them was the second in command. Good. Valintine walked inside and the scientists looked at him. Valintine shot lightning at all of them before they could twitch. One moved. He must have some sort of ability. Maybe probability manipulation, or enhanced speed. Valintine captured him though before he could reach the alarm. The Arrancar shoved him against the wall abnd smiled. "It seems I need to access various computers in order to get what I want. What I want in a quincy artifact. This artifact seems to be on the lowest level. Tell me...how can I avoid going onto all the levels?" The scientist just looked at him.
Valintine sighed. He would ask him questions and the man would just look at him. Valintine back-handed him, he kneed him, he strangled him until he turned blue, but still he didn't speak. "Fine...Enjoy the afterlife." The scientist died silent. Valintine looked at the computer and scanned it for information. He got what he needed and walked to the elevator. He then realized something. He was a fucking Arrancar. He didn't need this bullshit. He opened the elevator and used his sword to cut out the entire bottom. He jumped down and solidified the air to stop him from going splat. He sensed Shinigami and a quincy beyond the door. He smiled as he felt them walking to the door. He charged a cero and waited for the door to open. He held out his hand and let the blast loose. The Shinigami and Quincy were strong though. They weren't dead on impact but they were fatally wounded. Valintine wasn't threatened by them anymore, bu guards were aware of him now. He noticed the elevator moving and quickly stepped onto the floor of the level. He chuckled as he saw guard after guard fall to their death.
He took out the plans of this level and looked at them. It seemed that what he was looking for was down the hall to his right and on the left. He followed the directions and walked into the room. He froze as he realized that the reiatsu flowing from the room was Hollow. "Shit..." The arrancar lunged at Valintine and Valintine did a butterfly kick to counter. The Arrancar vanished in a sondio and jammed his elbow into Valintine's back. Valintine flew into the room and looked around. He was not about to have this fight with this Arrancar. He didn't know who he was but he bet he could out smart him. If he could just get his hands on an open wound. Valintine summoned his blade and went on the offensive.
The Arrancar matched each of his blows like it was nothing. Valintine switched to two hands instead of one and still the Arrancar didn't give any ground. Valintine debated using his new found power to end this, but he couldn't. Valintine just had to keep this up. He knew he couldn't win in a fair fight so he cheating. He made a low blow, and the Arrancar went down. Valintine wasted no time and as he fell Valintine made a shallow slash on the Arrancar's chest over his heart. It was going to be enough for him. The Arrancar hissed and stabbed Valintine threw the leg. The younger Arrancar bit back yelling as pain raced through him. The stranger ripped the sword away and Valintine used sonido to get away. Where the hell was that artifact? Finally when he noticed it he took it and fired a cero up to clear a path for him to leave. Alarms were really blaring now. The arrancar rushed Valintine. The Exequias Captain side stepped to the right and held out his hand. He fired a bolt of lightning and it connected with the open wound. The electricity seeped inside of him and overloaded the Arrancar's heart. He fell over dead within seconds. Valintine swore. "This shit better be worth it." He looked up at the hole he made. Water was pouring in from that hole and the one from the first cero blast. That was his cue to leave. Opening a garganta he left the area.
