    Rishev Recovery Empty Rishev Recovery

Post by Kueshi Thu Aug 12, 2010 1:39 am

Kueshi had received a mission directly from Marin. It entailed the capture of a Bount named Rishev Weirsch. Apparently Weirsch was a part of an organization called Excaliculture and had been doing research on manipulating Hierro. Ideally the man could be brought in and used to help improve Arrancorp’s already impressive CRAM Suit.

Kueshi had readied himself for the mission by grabbing his normal suit jacket and black slacks, Floorshine shoes, white shirt, and red tie. He hid his Zanpakuto on the inside of his suit jacket in a way he could access it easily but would be hidden from plain sight of those near him. He stepped into a garganta, taking him to Rishev’s last known location in South America.

Kueshi stepped onto the grassy savannah maybe a half mile from the particle physics lab. He walked in the general direction of the laboratory, walking at a normal pace. “Arriving at the birds nest in five minutes.” Kueshi spoke into his headset, signaling to his accomplices that he was en route. He didn’t have to be walking so slowly, but he had only been to South America a few times before and the scenery was quite beautiful.

Kueshi continued towards the building, waiting to hear from his recon team on the number of hostiles in the area. If it was a small force with Rishev, there would be no problem with smashing straight into the place, but if he had a small army with him they may have to try a more political maneuver to get Rishev to follow them. Either that or they could go stealth mission and risk getting caught with their pants down… chances are full frontal assault would be the most useful tactic in any situation.

South America, one of the few untamed regions remaining on this world. One thing Seis could say about his job, he sure did get to travel a lot, but never usually to places this scenic. It was a welcome change of pace for the strange young hybrid. He was currently crouched atop one of the security towers surrounding Rishev's lab. The OCRA sufficiently masking his presence as he surveyed the area, having arrived about an hour prior to scout out the area before the main team's arrival. This had given him plenty of time to nail down the guard's patrol patterns and get a vague fix on the various Arrancar scouts that were dotted about the area doing surveillance. It wasn't that they weren't good at their jobs, he just knew what to look for seeing as it was part of his job to avoid them. According to Marin this mission was of great import to the Research Division, believing that this Bount scientist could somehow yield improvements to the prototype CRAM unit that his shadow agent was wearing even now. While a part of him did hope that was true as the constant drain the suit put on him was somewhat annoying, he found that another part of him feared the kind of problems his master might be able to cause with such a device enhancing his forces. It was not a charming thought.

He was broken from his thoughts by Kueshi's communique, the headset in his helmet having been tuned into the team's tactical network in order for him to more easily monitor their movements. He wouldn't be able to help them out if he didn't know what they were planning to do, now would he? Satisfied that the observers knew what they were doing, they were Valintine's agents after all, he waited at his current position for the moment he'd have to make a move.

Valintine never did really like scoping things out. He had taken the liberty of looking through their mission before they left. There was only one person that they were supposed to capture. Everyone else was just a waste of space. Valintine had altered the EXIT so that it ran on the frequency of the communicators of Seis and Kueshi, albeit he didn't know Seis was listening in. He walked on air above the other two males, and ahead of them. Valintine wore a white shirt with only a single sleeve. The only sleeve it had was the left one. The right side was sleeveless and had a black trim. On his right wrist he had his bangle composed of feathers. He had on a black cloth belt and a pair of pants tight around his waist that flared out as they moved down. The end of the pants covered his black boots. His right pants leg was white and the left pants leg was black. He activated his EXIT and zoomed in on the front of the base. "Well boys...looks like they have a welcome party for us. Alpha team, handle it...Beta, secure the perimeter." They responded. Valintine smiled as his men killed the guards quickly and without hesitation. They descended upon the guards, killed them, and even removed their bodies. Beta team came in dressed in the uniform of the guards.

Valintine used sonido and sat down at the front of the gate. He waited for the others to arrive. He didn't like waiting, but he had little choice. It was Kueshi's mmission. "Alpha team, circle the air. Eliminate any intruders within a five mile radius of us. Beta team, do not leave your positions. Just stand guard. Kueshi, ready when you are." Valintine played with his bangle while he waited for the other two men. It wouldn't be long. Such a waste of flesh humans and Shinigami were. It'd be nice to kill them...

Kueshi heard activity over the radio, including Valentine’s response to Kueshi’s question. “Alright then, I’m done sightseeing, see you in a second.” Kueshi jumped into a series of Sonido, placing himself at the entrance where the guards had recently went on ‘rotation.’ “Nice job taking care of the goons out front Valentine, nothing less than expected from the head of Exequias.” Kueshi said to his mission partner as he walked towards the front of the building. “Do we know what floor he’s on? Or a specific room would be even better. As much as I love ripping through minions some of these guys are supposed to be on level with even me or you according to my sources. We should form a plan before we charge in.

Kueshi looked upwards. Above the main door of the building were a series of windows looking out into the court yard from each floor. Guards sat in front of the window, but they were all looking inwards towards the building, not outwards into the court yard. “Lucky call not being spotted yet on that switch with the guards. This building is pretty packed. I wonder if some big wig is here other than Rishev… Rishev isn’t supposed to be important to this organization according to the information I was given, but the building has about thirty armed guards and possibly twice that many non-lethal sentry guns. Any chance any of those guards you killed out front isn’t dead yet? He could prove useful for finding Rishev…

From his perch atop the guard tower Seis was able to watch the quick and efficient disposal of the various sentries scattered about the outside of the lab. He couldn't fault the way the Arrancar head of the Exequias trained his people, they were dangerously efficient most of the time, but he did find himself questioning the overly lethal approach they always seemed to use in just about any situation, whether it was necessary or not. In this particular scenario for example, he had come up with at least a handful of ways in which the guards could have been either avoided or neutralized without the need to kill them, but that just wasn't the way a Hollow's mind seemed to work. They all seemed to think the humanity was a waste of space that needed to be eradicated with extreme prejudice, which was odd considering if that happened the Hollows would die out from starvation, not to mention that they came from the same stock in the end. And if they felt that way about the humans from which they were born, how would they feel about him if they ever learned his true origins?

Valintine motioned to one of the "guards" and he walked over. "Did you get any information from the straggler?" The guard nodded and handed Valintine a map. Valintine looked it over and nodded. He dismissed him and handed it to Kueshi. "Here y'go, cher. If that building truly is heavily guarded from head to toe, it's certainly best to send the Exequias above away less they get caught. With so many people inside you have to account for at least half of them having a great memory. Twenty five percent will have picture perfect, and the rest will be idiots. So acount for the amount that can see outside on the ground and otherwise. Any abnormal activity from the ground team will give us away in a heartbeat. And anyone who sees anything in the sky will get suspicious. So...I recommend once we get inside me taking point. Not to undermine you or anything, but this way if we get caught most likely it'll be ME who takes the brunt of the...affection." He smiled and chuckled. "Wouldn't want such trash marring that beautiful face." He stood up and looked at Kueshi coyly as he turned around and looked up. "You all in the sky, go home. Ground team be cautious. Don't get out of hand or give away any signs that you are not who you appear to be. If something happens that will compromise our...cover, I want to know BEFORE the alarms go off. I wanna know yesterday, not today. Clear? Good." He looked at Kueshi. "Ready when you are."

Kueshi grimaced slightly at Valentine’s affectionate words. He knew they were meant in a mindful way, but they were still making Kueshi feel a bit claustrophobic. “Aye, you take point then. I’m going to open the door and fire a bala at each of the Auto-def turrets, and cut down the two guards at the door. After that you take point. You’ve read the map, so you should know where to go to reach our target. Head towards the staircase after we take anyone in or near the lobby and we will work from there. Sound like a plan? There probably is little that we can do to completely avoid detection, but if we take out the turrets and the cameras before they can see us, followed by body with handheld communications, we should be able to avoid them knowing we’re here for at least say two minutes when maintenance manages to get there. Most of the men inside appear to be weaker than captains, but there are five reiatsu signatures that stand out. One of them is likely to be Rishev Weirsch.

Kueshi put his hand on the door handel, looked up at Valentine, then pushed. First turret was in sight when the door wasn’t even a third of the way open. A single balla was enough to take the motion sensor-camera out. They hadn’t done much to secure the camera on their sentry turrets, and it was easy enough to find. The second camera was in the back right corner of the loby. Second balla hit it square in the barrel. It ate it’s way through the barrel and caused it to explode upon contact with the turret’s ammo magazine. The explosion sprayed off shrapnel killing a guard directly under it. The third turret was straight out. Balla to the camera took it out. Kueshi entered the building, knowing there would be two more cameras on the floor. One was directly above him. He drew his zanpakuto and cut it off of it’s hinge, severing the wires and rendering it useless. The last one was in the front left corner of the lobby. Kueshi unleashed a fourth balla at it before bringing his sword down across the guard to his right’s head and then across and through the one to his left’s throat.

Clear. Lead on Valentine.” Kueshi spoke softly to the newly elected point-man of the group.

'They're on the move, good,' Seis thought to himself as he watched the various Exequias scatter, leaving only the "guards" and the two commanders in play. That would make things so much easier on his end as it meant fewer bodies to dodge. Now all he had to do was get inside the building and covertly rendezvous with the others, easy.

Using shunpo he moved across the complex to the main building, solidifying the reishi under his feet as he landed so that it looked like he was sticking to the side of the building, or would rather if he wasn't still cloaked. Waiting for Kueshi to make his "grand entrance" he synchronized the start of his plan with the first sounds of commotion from below. Tapping on the nearest window he smirked beneath his faceplate as the nearby guard actually opened the window and stuck his head out to look around. Executing a quick snap kick he caught the curious sentry across the jaw, sending him stumbling back into the room and leaving an opening for Seis to swing himself into the room. As he moved he used kuhapdo to quickly draw his wakizashi, hurling the blade at the one camera in the room before any of it's occupants had any idea what was happening. What happened after that was a blur of total chaos as he didn't have time to think about his movements, being forced to rely on years of training and muscle memory to guide his movements as the guards attempted to subdue the strange distortion which had just attacked them amidst the confusion coming from below. It was a fairly one-sided fight though given that his opponent's couldn't really see or understand what it was they were fighting, their guns firing about madly as they attempted to draw a bead on their lone assailant, the sounds muffled by the small explosions coming from the first floor.

Then, only a couple of seconds after it had started it was over, the various sentries scattered about the room in a senseless heap, still dazed from the beating they'd received. Retrieving Wǔ fēng from the camera's lens, he then proceeded to open up a garganta, dumping the unconscious bodies into it and using it to deposit them some twenty miles away from the facility. Far enough away to keep them from raising an alarm, yet theoretically close enough to civilization to keep them safe from the dangerous creatures lurking out in the wilderness. Then, after that was handled, he listened at the door for a moment before making his way out into the corridor. It was time to play catch up with the rest of his team.

Valintine smiled as Kueshi demolished everything before him. "Elegant." He said as he moved ahead of Kueshi. His movements were slow and each step was thought about before being taken. He rounded the corner and made his way to the location of the stairs. It didn't last long though. Shortly after leaving the lobby three guards were positioned there. Luckily they were turned around. Valintine held out his right hand and green sparks gathered. He released an electrically charged bala at the throat of one ofe the guards, and as the other two turned around Valintine sonido'd to them and silently broke both their windpipes. He was careful to keep his head down and away from the upper part of the walls. Pointing behind him with both hands he released lightning bolts that shut down two cameras. He looked back at Kueshi and turned off his EXIT, he didn't want his guards listening in. He motioned for Kueshi to do the same. "We should swing by the security center or someplace to download video footage. It could hold valuable information as well as erase our tracks. Places like these don't have just one mainframe. The video footage is probably stored here as well as somewhere else linked to this site. But if we can find where the link leads, we can shoot a virus over to it and clear it's memory. Just a thought."

Kueshi grinned at Valentine, after cutting off his headset. "Brilliant idea, feel free to proceed. I will follow you. I need to invent a couple things to make missions like this easier... but that will have to wait till next time. What do you think about a gun that fires Mod souls at people with that shinigami soul rejection symbol attached to them? It would kick the soul out of the body and replace it with a pre-screened mod soul that we could control. On top of that once a silencer is attached to the gun, it would be the perfect addition to any stealth mission." Kueshi continued up the stairs after Valintine.

Kueshi kept an eye behind them in case anybody decided to come out of a door to investigate what was happening outside. It wouldn't have been but so unusual for someone to have recognized the sound of the exploding camera or the ring of electricity sucking out a man's life. Maybe the human guards wouldn't recognize it as that, but they would be curious nonetheless. As if to prove his point, a guard poked his head out of a room maybe ten feet from Kueshi. Kueshi leaped towards the guards head and slashed downwards straight across his neck. The guard was looking towards the corner they had just walked through, either at the dead bodies or the broken camera. Either way, that just wouldn't do. Kueshi quickly opened the door to the room and was happy to see it was unocupied. Kueshi kicked the head and body back into the room and closed the door. before returning to Valentine's back. "We will have to be careful how we take out anything living. Contact between our world and the physical world, such as a balla hitting the side of someone's head, does make noise that they can hear."

Gut punch, throat kick, jab to the solar plexus... three more guards down and deposited in a storage closet, effectively removed from play. He had to give them their due though, against any other opponents these particular sentries would probably have been more the efficient... unfortunately for them Marin wasn't pulling his punches where this operation was concerned. He'd elected to send his three strongest ArranCorp affiliated operatives in order to handle the situation, and the effect was obvious. Granted the ever increasing body count was unnecessary given that this was supposed to be either a recruitment mission or a snatch-and-grab, but given the personalities and prejudices of 2/3 of the team it wasn't really surprising either.

Currently spread eagle against the roof of the corridor as a pair of tech types past under him, Seis had plenty of time to think about such things. He'd long ago learned how to multi-task like that when dealing with low level flunkies, which compared to him was exactly what most of the personnel within this facility seemed to be. Dropping down to the floor once the pair had gone around the corner, he began cautiously running down the hall to connect with the other unwitting members of his squad. He could sense their signatures nearby at this point, he could easily rendezvous with them in the next couple of minutes as long as no other distractions presented themselves. The trick was going to be figuring out what to do afterwards seeing as no one else knew of his dual job description. Kueshi might accept the help if he revealed himself, but Valintine was naturally suspicious by nature and would probably NOT be so accommodating. He was going to have to be even sneakier then usual to pull this off, supporting the team from the shadows and watching their backs without them noticing... Just another day on the job at ArranCorp right?

Kueshi noticed something a little bit out of the normal. A few of the guards reiatsu signals a few floors up from Kueshi and Valentine's position had been dropping off of his radar. The most likely cause for this would be somebody killing them or putting them to sleep. He spoke softly to Valintine: "You take this floor, and the next floor. I'm going to continue ahead. Something strange is happening above us and I want to check it out. If you find Rishev, use your Com. unit to get ahold of me before you make your move. We need Rishev alive."

Kueshi made his way up the staircase until he hit the fifth floor. 'this is the one' he thought. He moved in and, slightly to his surprise, his theory was right. Several guards were missing from where they should have been. He had been expecting bodies, but the floor was nearly empty except for the broken cameras that laid astrew and the signature of someone possibly even as powerful as him. There were simmilar signatures on other floors, including on the floors he left Valintine to, but he needed to know. Could this person be Rishev? As he approached the room with the signature, he noticed a shimmer along a wall to his left. It wasn't much but it was there. He reached out with his reiatsu to see if he could discern what was there.

[OOC: Assume that the person in the room is an assistant to Rishev]

Pausing as the door to the stairwell opened Seis pressed himself against the wall in an attempt to better conceal his presence. 'Bloody bastard has such lousy timing, I was so close to nabbing that mook in the next room and getting some info outta him. Ah well, now he can do all the hard work and I'll just have to sit in on the session. He IS number one after all, things like that are why they pay him the big bucks aren't they?' Kueshi seemed to have other ideas however as he paused just outside the entrance of the room in question and seemed to stare right at Seis, reaching out with his spiritual pressure in an attempt to probe him or something. 'Not good, if he finds me this way then explaining myself away is going to be a royal pain in the ass.' Doing his best to remain still he tried to even further minimize his presence, not that that was really possible. He should be fine so long as the Arrancar didn't try to reach out and touch him, but when playing with people of this power level ya never really knew...

Kueshi heard something break in the next room. He turned his attention to the doorway, this may be his last chance to catch the person in the room alone before some amount of attention got there. "Dammit the specimen keeps dying. Somebody bring me the paddles!" The man cried out to a group of mundanes. Kueshi broke down the door as the mundanes were handing the paddles to the man who was about to attempt to revive the thing that was on the table. It looked like it may have at one point been an arrancar, but it's body was covered in burn marks and blisters. Kueshi had one question to ask before he killed the man. "Are you Rishev?"

The man quickly spat "No! I am not that whore of a scientist. I am trying to keep the specimen alive!" The first word was all of a response Kueshi needed. He knew exactly what he had to do, he pointed a finger at the male scientist and fired off his Superfine Cero through the scientist's heart. Kueshi moved his finger in a spiraling motion, literally cutting the man's heart out of his chest. The man gasped for air, somehow still alive even after having his heart cut out of his chest. "Goodbye mein fruend." Kueshi said to the man. Kueshi quickly went around the room silently killing off the mundanes who were wondering why the lead scientist in their research team's heart was just cut out by a laser like light. Poor humans didn't even see their own deaths. Kueshi had no choice but to put the comatose arrancar on the table out of his misery. "Suffer no more you poor thing, return to the begining of creation." Kueshi ran his sword downwards through the head of the arrancar, spraying blood like a fountain as he withdrew his sword.

Seis was slightly stunned by the unnecessary brutality of it all. Kueshi had just effectively massacred a group of humans for no good reason, literally, with the exception of the head doctor none of them had been even remotely aware of his presence so there'd been no reason to kill them... even if they HAD been experimenting on Hollows. But that was the way the Hollows seemed to work, embodying the darkest parts of the human soul with their love of wanton death and destruction of the mortal realm. He really should be used to it by now, especially considering how often he'd been forced to clean up after it, but there was a difference between seeing the aftermath of an event and watching it happen right before your eyes.

Kueshi grinned as he left the room. He knew that the humans probably didn’t have to die, but they would have hit the alarm after seeing one of the lead scientists cut in half from an unknown source, and it was better for the team of the security couldn’t locate him. By now, the enemy security should have been grouped down towards the bottom floor of the building in an attempt to begin their lockdown sequence. That was a futile attempt though; Kueshi could escape the building without issue even after they had ‘secured’ the building.

Kueshi moved on to the next signal on his metaphorical radar. He noticed the reiatsu of two men directly above him. ‘Traveling in a pair… one of them may be Rishev.’ Kueshi stepped through a pair of garganta and placed himself in the hallway outside of the room, sticking his blade through a security guard’s back outside of the room. ‘now would be a good time to have backup… let’s see if I can bargain with the man inside.’ Kueshi opened the door and asked a question… not even a question, just one word escaped his mouth. “Rishev?

Of the two people, one of them turned towards the door. The person was wearing a hood, but long golden hair could be seen coming out of the bottom of the hood. Kueshi repeated himself. “Are you Rishev Weirsch?

The woman under the hood pulled the hood away from her face, which was somewhat exotic looking. She had a beautiful face except for a single scar going down her left cheek which was a bright pink color and had purple bruises around it. Other than that she looked like a 26 or 27 year old female human who had done cheerleading in high school. “I am Rishev Weirsch. Who are you? And why are you here?
